Pivotal Awakening Milestones
It all began on August 25, 2019, with our plan to record “one song, just for fun.” Then, God’s amazing plan took over and completely changed our lives.

- October 21 Saving Me is released to the world!
- October 5 Recording is complete on our eleventh song, Saving Me
- September 28 Praise the Glory places at #3 in the MusicLov3rz September Top 10
- July 20 We are interviewed by Chris King on Gospel Grind Radio
- July 18 Praise the Glory is featured on the Women of Substance Podcast
- July 17 Holy Water is released to the world!

- July 2 Praise the Glory finishes at #3 on the Carbon Footprint Top 150 New Releases in June chart (includes all genres of music)
- June 22 Recording is completed on our tenth song, Holy Water
- May 28 Praise the Glory appears in MusicLov3rz magazine and is added for airplay on their streaming station
- May 23 Praise the Glory places at #6 on the Hypeddit Top 100 New Releases chart
- May 19 Praise the Glory is released to the world!
- May 4 Recording is completed on our ninth song, Praise the Glory
- April 19 Believe is featured on the Women of Substance Podcast
- March 17 Christian Music on the Horizon adds our songs to their streaming radio station

- February 16 We are incredibly blessed to reach the Final Round of the 2021 Detroit Music Awards in four categories:

- December 31 Believe is released to the world!
- December 21 Recording is completed on our eighth song, Believe. A special song to us…it was the first song we co-wrote together after joining as Pivotal Awakening.
- December 14 Christmas Light is featured on the Women of Substance Podcast
- December 2 Christmas Light is released to the world!
- November 24 Recording is completed on our seventh song, Christmas Light
- November 23 We passed a magical level when our 100,000th Facebook follower joined us from Venezuela!
- November 12 Moments is released to the world!
- November 6 Our five released songs crossed over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify
- November 5 Our 50,000th follower joined us on Spotify
- October 27 Recording is completed on our sixth song, Moments
- October 22 Not That Different receives a feature article on the international AB Newswire
- October 13 Our Facebook concert is aired for the Salvation Army’s Rock the Red Kettle series!
- October 11 We are featured in a special article on the front page of the Owosso Argus-Press, Mindi’s hometown newspaper
- October 6 We recorded our concert for the Salvation Army’s Rock the Red Kettle series – the first time we have ever played our songs live!
- September 30 We are interviewed on the Detroit-based “The Nooner Show” podcast.
- September 21 The Women of Substance Podcast features Not That Different in their special “Music with a Conscience” series
- September 18 Our second music video, Awaken and Rise, is released to the world!
- September 14 We receive news that Not That Different has been added by over 50 FM radio stations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia
- September 10 Daily Music Roll published a fantastic review of Not That Different
- September 8 Our five released songs cross the absolutely unbelievable level of over 1,000,000 streams between Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Pandora, and YouTube
- September 7 Awaken and Rise is featured on the Women of Substance Podcast
- September 5 Our 90,000th Facebook follower joined us from Brazil
- September 4 Not That Different places at #4 on the Louder Than The Music New Releases chart
- September 1 In its first week, Not That Different streamed over 72,200 times on Spotify. Unbelievable!

- August 25 Not That Different is released to the world! It was also our first “birthiversary!” One year ago today, we joined together as a musical team. And what a year it has been!
- August 23 We filmed our second music video with Julien York of York X Productions
- August 16 We attended the annual Northwest Flight 255 memorial service at Detroit Metropolitan Airport
- August 11 Recording is completed on our fifth song, Not That Different
- August 6 Awaken and Rise is added for airplay on Eagles Nest Radio in Sedona, Arizona

- August 2 Jamsphere, an independent music magazine, releases a feature on Soulblind across seven of their affiliated websites
- July 31 The official lyric video for Awaken and Rise is released on our YouTube Channel
- July 30 All four of our songs are added for FM and internet airplay in Campinas, Brazil. Awaken and Rise is added on Blunt Radio in the United Kingdom
- July 25 August Rain reaches #5 on the Hypeddit Top 100 Christian chart
- July 24 Our third professional photography session with Emily Farrell

- May 26 Our first day back in the recording studio following our state’s pandemic lockdown

- May 10 Soulblind, August Rain, and Questions Answered are added to the airplay rotation at WSNL, our local Contemporary Christian FM radio station
- May 6 Soulblind is added to the airplay rotation on the Namibia-based Nam Radio Global
- May 5 Soulblind is added to the airplay rotation on CBN Radio in the Caribbean
- May 4 Laurie Beebe Lewis finishes her vocal work on an upcoming song that features Mindi and Laurie in a duet
- April 23 Our fourth Pivotal Moments video, showing via Google Earth where our Facebook followers are, is added to our YouTube Channel. A special thank you to our fans, it is of course titled “God’s Amazing Plan.”
- April 19 The virtual Detroit Music Awards ceremony takes place. We were so grateful for Mindi to have been a Finalist and to have been nominated in four categories!
- April 12 We hosted a Facebook watch party of our church’s Easter service and were overjoyed to see people from all over the world joining us! Our 60,000th Facebook follower joined us from Nepal.
- April 9 Just 108 days after we created our Facebook Page, a new follower joined us from Turkmenistan, giving us a fan presence in all but two countries of the world – an absolutely unbelievable 99.5% of the countries on the planet. God’s amazing plan!!!
- April 1 We are featured on the Contemporary Christian Magazine website
- March 31 The official lyric video for Questions Answered is released on our YouTube Channel
- March 27 Our 50,000th Facebook follower joined us from Mississippi and we released a special thank you video on our YouTube Channel

- March 20 Veteran pop/rock singer Laurie Beebe Lewis joins us to collaborate on vocals with Mindi on one of our upcoming songs

- January 4 The phenomenal graphic designer Katie Taylor creates our band logo
- January 2 Our band website is created by the amazing skills of Mindi’s father
2019
- December 31 Soulblind is released to the world!
- December 24 Our first professional photography session with the super-talented Emily Farrell. Our band Facebook Page is launched.
- December 23 Recording is completed on our debut song, Soulblind
- November 20 We choose the name Pivotal Awakening and add it to Marshall’s Wall of Fame
- October 1 Recording begins on our first songwriting collaboration
- September 17 Marshall suggests we try songwriting together. We agree and on the way home decide to follow God in wherever He wishes to take our music.
- September 3 Our first recording session together
- September 1 Andy begins the recording process for Soulblind with the incredible Marshall Block at Real II Reel Productions
- August 25 Our band is born when Andy invites Mindi to record Soulblind. We planned to do “one song, just for fun.” God had a completely different plan for us!
